A Mini Diablo 3 Wizard Leveling Tutorial

Thankfully, when it comes the ultra powerful and durable barbarian, leveling to 60 in document time really should be a breeze! Some of the barbarian’s key characteristics are immediately visible from the character choice display screen. They are clearly great, greatly-muscled beings who seem to be ready for struggle at a moment’s recognize. Barbarians are masters of shut-quarter beat who dominate the battlefield with their massive strength, mighty armor and devastating weapons. The good thing is for them, Diablo three would seem to supply them very a little bit of action!Regarding weapons and armor, barbarians in Diablo three will be capable to use major A person-Handed Mighty Weapons, Two-Handed Mighty Weapons, as well as Mighty Belts.I will address shouts in significantly additional detail in a long term publish, but essentially shouts offer buffs to allies, de-buffs to enemies. Their shouts make the barbarian class a relatively worthy addition to any team shopping to mow down enemies on their quest to higher ranges or you have to use Diablo 3 Exploits. For this justification, the barbarian course positive aspects from a participate in-model that moves efficiently from an individual team of enemies to the following. As formidable as they are quickly, with as many fabulous defensive skills as they have offense capabilities, the barbarian is with no need of a doubt an extraordinarily practical choice for swiftly Diablo three leveling to stage sixty!

Heaven, Hell, and Sanctuary (the "Earth" of Diablo). The most important plot of Diablo two was to defeat the demons from Hell which experienced invaded Sanctuary. The explanation it experienced to be hidden from Heaven was that a great many of the angels thought to be Sanctuary to be an abomination and desired to ruin it. When this occurred, the earth of Sanctuary was exposed to Heaven for the earliest time, revealing to the vengeful Archangels Sanctuary’s existence. If you are imagining this is just speculation, there is a particular idea which absolutely confirms the fact that we will fight angels in Diablo 3 Bots. You can now get gear which minimizes the total of damage you take from Holy assaults. Renegade angels and demons who grew worn out of the eternal war involving Large Heavens and Burning Hells built Sanctuary, a realm for their offspring, the Nephalem. Diablo now 100 % free from his imprisonment, went on to free his brothers, Baal and Mephisto. A prophecy foretold that at the time the worldstone is wrecked it will break open up the gates of Hell unleashing the forces of the Burning Hells in spite of this the invasion never ever occurred which induced Deckard Cain to look for an reply.

Fantastic Friday was the day on which Jesus died. Most of the Christians do fasting by evading the ingestion of fish, meat, wine and egg. With Ash Sunday start off the Lenten fasting and the preparations for Easter Sunday start one particular week prior to its arrival with Palm Sunday. On Effective Friday there are no flowers and decorations in the churches. Mourners donning black cloths and holding an image of Jesus Christ transfer in procession and a ritual burial will take location. He preached almost everyone not to give struggling to some others but to ease and comfort other individuals through when is good friday . It teaches absolutely everyone to really like and loathe none. Really good Friday is regarded as a commemoration of the crucification and loss of life of the son of God Jesus Christ on a cross for alleged blasphemy of clearing to be the son of God, a blasphemy against his father who actually sent him to provide his word to mankind and train them the way to get back to his kingdom. But no an individual has reflected on the principal situations. Also Mary Magdalene could not figure out him it was not the physical entire body that Thomas implemented to touch his wound . Easter was the time that Christ, dead by incarnating into the planet of subject lifeless to all those in Divine realm – resurrection from the marketplace of make a difference and headed again to his father. In the very same way, everyone that leave the earth back again to paradise has resurrected from the society of subject.

Diablo 3 lacks end-game content', admits Blizzard

In a rather shocking statement, a Blizzard rep took to the game's official forums to admit that the dungeon crawler's end-game has failed to keep players engaged as long as expected, and that although it's working on improvements, extra content that provides "what we would expect out of a proper end-game" is still "a ways out".

Here's the statement in full, with the last paragraph being a follow-up post:

"We recognize that the item hunt is just not enough for a long-term sustainable end-game. There are still tons of people playing every day and week, and playing a lot, but eventually they're going to run out of stuff to do (if they haven't already).

"Killing enemies and finding items is a lot of fun, and we think we have a lot of the systems surrounding that right, or at least on the right path with a few corrections and tweaks. But honestly Diablo III is not World of Warcraft. We aren't going to be able to pump out tons of new systems and content every couple months. There needs to be something else that keeps people engaged, and we know it's not there right now.

"We're working toward 1.0.4, which we're really trying to pack with as many fixes and changes we can to help you guys out (and we'll have a bunch of articles posted with all the details as we get closer), and we're of course working on 1.1 with PvP arenas. I think both those patches will do a lot to give people things to do, and get them excited about playing, but they're not going to be a real end-game solution, at least not what we would expect out of a proper end-game. We have some ideas for progression systems, but honestly it's a huge feature if we want to try to do it right, and not something we could envision being possible until well after 1.1 which it itself still a ways out.

"Hindsight is 20/20 I suppose, but we believed pre-release that the item hunt would be far more sustainable, and would work to be a proper end-game for quite a while. That didn't turn out to be true, and we recognize that."

Blizzard has been in the wars lately. Yesterday, it issued a statement denying claims that it's banning Diablo 3 players for running the game on Linux.

Blizzard: Diablo 3's Endgame is "Not There Right Now"

So you've slogged your way through Hell. You've pounded your head against the wall that is Diablo 3's Inferno difficulty, finally breaking through to the other side. Now what? As you may have noticed, there's not much of an endgame outside of the everlasting loot hunt. Well guess what? Blizzard has noticed too. On the official Diablo 3 forums, Community Manager Bashiok had this to say: "There needs to be something else that keeps people engaged, and we know it's not there right now."

We're working toward 1.0.4, which we're really trying to pack with as many fixes and changes we can to help you guys out (and we'll have a bunch of articles posted with all the details as we get closer), and we're of course working on 1.1 with PvP arenas.

Well, this all seems rather damning. At best, it seems that Blizzard greatly miscalculated how much time people would actually be spending looking for items and killing bosses. At worst, they were aware that they were shipping without a whole lot of endgame content and went ahead with releasing it anyway. Granted, this is coming from a Community Manager at Blizzard, not from the developers themselves, but it's certainly an interesting statement coming from a Blizzard insider.

4 Things That Really Annoy Me About Diablo 3

Last week we talked about Diablo 3, and some of the amazing things that I love about it. This week, I am going to have to dip my toe into the dark side. After all, as much as I love the game, and will continue to play it, there are some pretty serious issues that need to be addressed. I intended to write one article and fill it with both love and hate, but it turned out I loved too much about the game. Is the same true for the things I hate?

Blizzard issued a patch for the game a little over a week ago that fixed some things, and made some things worse. I was hoping that after the patch I could completely cancel the “things I hate” article, and everything would be perfect, but sadly, that is not the case. In fact, the patch actually created a completely new entry on my hate list.

Overpowered Mob Affix Combinations
For those who do not play Diablo 3, affixes are modifications that will spawn on the harder enemies in the game. They give them special abilities that make them more difficult. For example, you may encounter a mob with fast, invulnerable minions, mortar, shielding and some other affix.

Blizzard has admitted that some of these are overpowered, and they plan to patch them, but for now, they can be a royal pain. For example, shielding happens too frequently, and lasts too long, making these enemies a real problem. Enemies who have minions that you cannot hurt have the same health as enemies with minions that you can. This needs to be changed because the invulnerable minions absorb so much of the damage.

Legendary drops are not necessarily meant to be the most powerful items in the game. They are meant to enhance the lore and be fun, but they should also be useable, and other than a select few, most are utter garbage that no high level character would ever use.

Repair costs
Before the patch, I could have said the repair costs are too low. There was almost no punishment for death. You would respawn until your gear breaks and pay a paltry sum to get it fixed. Blizzard realized that this was a problem, and they addressed it by raising costs tenfold. This is just ridiculous. There are times when I will meet up with a couple of the bad mob affixes I mentioned earlier and die a couple of times. That run will lose most of its profit because of how much it costs to fix my gear.

I think an increase of four or five times the previous cost would have been reasonable, but as it stands, I think Blizzard went a little overboard, and until they decide to lower it a little (they have mentioned that it is a possibility) this will continue to be one of the things I hate.

Public Games
A public game is great when you are under geared and need help getting through a part in hell or nightmare, but in inferno (the hardest difficulty), most people who join your game do not belong there, and they just end up holding you back. For whatever, the option to kick them is always unavailable, and if you already have five stacks of Nephalem Valor, you are stuck carrying this person through the game.

All I want is to be able to kick someone out of the room who does not belong. If I am working on act 2, and a person comes in and is getting one hit killed by everything that moves, that just is not fun, and I want to be able to remove them from my game and get someone who actually belongs there.

Conclusion
Diablo 3 is a fantastic game, and the casual player might not even notice any of these issues. However, as you progress and eventually reach level 60, they will become an issue for you. None of them are enough to make me want to stop playing the game, (I am 150 hours deep at this point) but they are certainly worth taking note of.

Thankfully, it is the modern era of video games, and these issues can (and probably will) be addressed with a patch.

In the end, between the things I love and the things I hate, the love wins. If you are a fan of video games, you should at least give Diablo 3 a chance.  Let us know what you think in the comments below.

Blizzard wants your Diablo 3 Magic Find feedback

Diablo III players have had a few weeks to get to level 60, and Blizzard's recent patch to smooth over some of the difficulty hikes has made sure that more adventurers than ever can hack and slash their way through Inferno, the game's ultimate difficulty level and best source of loot. Players have discovered that it's efficient to keep a second set of gear in their bags loaded up with Magic Find, the stat that boosts your chance to find rare items, and swap to it when Elite/Champion packs or bosses are at low health. Unlike WoW, loot is calculated when a creature dies, not when it spawns, thus allowing players to benefit both from the good stats on their main gear and the MF on the gear they switch to.

Blizzard considered this an unintended but allowable way to play; now that the method is well known out in the wild, though, players are feeling forced into playing this way, and the devs know it. To that end, they've announced that they're working on a solution to the gear swapping problem and explained a few of the choices they're mulling over, replete with pros and cons for each.

And they want your feedback! Comment on the blog post with your thoughts and which change you'd personally like to see. Keep in mind, though, that regardless of which change is made, the devs are planning to boost MF for everyone so that no one feels penalized by whichever change makes it to launch.

Diablo 3 Item Calculator App Assists Players Appraising Loot (iPhone)

Diablo 3 is a game centered around the idea of finding, selling and buying unique items that enhance the strength of your characters. One of the most common complaints from Diablo 3 players is how difficult it is to determine the value of an item. The values for an item are not only randomly generated, but are too difficult to appraise on the fly. Our app is the only app that assists players in appraising the quality of loot (i.e. item) by calculating the hard-to-calculate maximum value possible for each attribute.

Features

  • Up-to-date information on Magic & Rare Items
  • Data is constantly being updated
  • Extremely EASY and QUICK to use
  • Can be used offline

Example Statistics

  • Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Vitality (FREE)
  • Magic Find, +Resists, +Damage, +Life, Class Buffs, Sockets, +Armor, % Chance to Knockback/etc, +XP, +Gold, +Attack Speed, Life Steal/Regen, Damage Reduction, Thorns, +Block, and so much MORE with the premium upgrade

Premium Features include
Gain access to over hundreds of affixes and know each items max possible values. Get the edge on the Auction House!

One of the primary focuses for the app is to deliver a great interface that is not only easy to use but extremely quick to use – requiring only a few taps and/or a swipe. If you are interested, watch the DEMO on youTube or read more about it on the Facebook page. Diablo 3 Item Calculator (FREE, $1 unlocks premium attributes) should be on sale this Thursday, June 28, 2012 on the iTunes Appstore.

Because of the large amount of fake software attempting to help Diablo 3 players, more information on the app is being hosted through a Facebook page. Follow this link to see more.

Player 'completes' Diablo III video game

To make the task harder, Kripparrian used the game's "hard core" setting which left little room for error.

The achievement has been confirmed by the game's developer, Blizzard .

The hugely popular Diablo III game casts players in the role of a hero who has to save the mythical world of Sanctuary from a demonic invasion.

Kripparrian made this job as hard as possible by playing the game's Inferno mode which makes in-game enemies much tougher.

In addition, he used a "hard core" character. This meant that, if the character died once, the game would be over. He also got in-game help from another player called Krippi.

The final fight against Diablo, the ultimate boss in the game, took about 25 minutes and Kripparrian was jubilant once it was done.

The achievement was completed prior to the application of the latest patch for the game which makes monsters easier to kill.

"With this patch, the bosses, the mobs, they become easier," he said in the video of the kill. "We didn't want to beat it that way. We wanted to beat the game when it was hard, at the hardest point possible. So it was a race against time."

One of Blizzard's community managers confirmed the achievement soon after and offered congratulations via Twitter.

Blizzard Restores Diablo 3 Account But Locks Out Player's $200

A lot of people were curious how one particular case involving a Diablo III player and his $200 lost in an account lockout would be resolved. Well, the player in question, Xres, updated everyone on the progress of his situation and he's now able to play the game again, but he's lost access to his $200 and won't be getting it back. The original story, which you can read here, recounts a fellow who ended up getting caught on the wrong side of the region fence. He used to live in North America and played Diablo III for a time while in North America, but then he decided to move back to his native country and continue playing. After moving he loaded up his Battle.net account with $200.00 and then proceeded to buy items off the auction house. After several transactions, Blizzard locked his account for audit and trapped his money in limbo. Of course, there was no audit, review or restrictions applied to money being deposited, only when the money was attempted to be used. In an updated post on the Diablo 3 forums, Xres has some good and bad news. The good news is that after a back and forth with customer support he finally regained access to his account, with the rep stating...
I've gone ahead and unlocked your Diablo III account for you at this time. However, due to mismatching information on your BNET account versus where you are playing from, your RMAH access is banned at this time until you proceed with the region change.
Now a lot of people would think this is a win for the consumer, however, it is not. You see, being banned from RMAH with $200.00 on his Battle.net balance prevents him from using the money until the region is changed. What's more is that as indicated in our original story, the only way to make the region change is to have less than $20.00 on the account and any account with an amount greater than $20.00 would be considered money laundering changing from one form of currency to the other. The only option is to void the $200.00 on the Battle.net account to get the region changed. This is where Xres is at the moment. At least Blizzard let him play on his account again; I can't even believe that someone would be locked out simply because they moved and didn't notify Blizzard of the change in time. Do you have any idea how absurd that sounds? It's a freaking game for crying out loud. Xres also explains his situation and how difficult it is to actually get the region changed for an account and the process you have to go through (for those of you thinking it's a hop, skip and a jump), saying...
I am a US Citizen. Even though I current do not physically live in the US, US is still my home. I still keep a permanent residence there. I still have a house there, I still pay my bills and taxes there. I go back to the US quite often, as I travel back and forth. I didn’t change my address because the registered address is still my home. During my conversion with the CS rep, I told him exactly this as well. He responded by saying I would need to change my region as often as I travel. Their region changing process require you to severely compromise your privacy, as they require photo IDs from your residing country’s government, as well as lots of other private information. On top of that, I didn’t want my default setting, playing environment to all of a sudden change language.
The last part about the language is another big factor, as reported by Kotaku, where the game is language locked to the region you're playing from, even if you don't actually speak the language, something people who travel should keep in mind. For those of you who also fit the travel bill, that part about having to change your region as often as you travel could become a real hassle. So you definitely want to keep that in mind if you plan on playing Diablo III outside of your home region. Also note, while a lot of forum members were actually supportive this time around, suggesting that the victim get a chargeback from the bank, keep in mind that your Battle.net account will be permanently banned if you take this method, pretty much voiding your $60 purchase of Diablo III. Other forum members suggested that Xres take his case to the Better Business Bureau, the FBI's IC3 division or small claims court. We'll keep you posted on additional updates regarding his case. Blizzard has not commented on the situation.

Diablo 3 Player Unknowingly Bids $149 on Real Money Auction House

Diablo 3's Real Money Auction House is where players can sell items for real-life money, or Battle.net balance. A post on the official Diablo 3 forums claimed that a user bid on an item valued at $0, but it cost $149.

The post said that the item appeared to be valued at $0, but the following day cost $149. The user thought it was a display bug, and as a result called Blizzard's customer service. However the customer service representative said Blizzard is "completely hands off," and said to try and resell the item for the original value. That's difficult when Blizzard frequently patches the game and weapons are subject to change.

This isn't the first error of its type, either: a report by Forbes detailed a user who lost $99 and didn't have the issue resolved with customer service shortly after. Later, the issue was resolved: the user - Weavol - posted "they [Blizzard] put the money through to my paypal minus the fee today," he said.

Some users have given into temptations, though, even making life-changing decisions: a user reportedly quite his job to try and make a career out of dealing on the Real Money Auction House. He quickly realized his items were changing in value and couldn't reliably make money, which was then too late.
Apparently the faux zero-dollar listing is a bug since servers resumed, which Community Manager Zarhym said is being fixed.

Blizzard also posted but since deleted a thread on the Diablo 3 forums which stated that the Real-Money Auction House does affect how items are dropped. If the two worked independently, "the economy would be completely tanked within a matter of weeks" Game Manager Bashiok revealed. The thread, which was created by user JDizzle highlighting the comments, has since been screen captured by Cinema Blend.
Blizzard takes a 15 percent cut from every item sold for real money in the Auction House, so maintaining the economy is probably in the company's best interests.

The user regarding the original zero-dollar issue claimed Blizzard was stealing money, so whether the Federal Trade Commission will return with another investigation remains to be seen.

China Promoting Illegal Diablo III Crack

Diablo III hasn't been released in China yet but the game is definitely enjoying a lot of coverage here. Enterprising players are already playing the game by buying copies from foreign countries, much to the ire of Korean and Taiwanese players. Now it seems there maybe a way for Chinese players to play Diablo III without causing problems for the Asian server. People's Daily's online's gaming channel, China's party newspaper's online website, as well as Tencent, one of China's largest internet gaming sites, have put out articles that heavily feature the use of a Diablo III crack so that players can play offline.

Currently, foreign games that enter the Chinese market need to be censored and "published" by a Chinese internet operator such as Tencent, Shanda or NetEase. NetEase is the operator for World of Warcraft in China.

The crack in question, released by the notorious game hacking group Skidrow is basically a server emulator for Diablo III. The server emulator would allow the game to think that it was "connected" to Blizzards server, thus allowing the player to play Diablo III offline. Currently the crack is still in its beta stage but a working torrent has been released.

Perhaps due to the overwhelming popularity of Blizzard games in China, as of this writing, Tencent and People's Daily have highlighted story on their websites. The writers for the stories went even as far as to say, "we hope that SK group can have this crack working 100 percent, so that we can play Diablo III before there is an official operator."

The articles also ask potential users of the crack to bear with the problems as the crack is only in beta. "We, as the guinea pigs, will have to be prepared for bugs but at least we can play offline."

Now there are countless legal issues at play with what the Tencent and People's Daily articles are promoting. Interestingly enough both articles which read oddly familiar only bring up the legal issue of who will operate Diablo III when it is officially allowed into China, completely foregoing the obvious break in end user agreements and piracy laws.

Inferno Farming – Act 1 VS Act 3 & 4

The past few weeks have brought a lot of changes to the game. We’ve seen Inferno nerfed, repair costs increased (and adjusted again) while drop rates have also been changed twice. The latest change to Inferno drops increased the drop rate of i61-63 across all 4 acts.

Drop rates as they currently stand:
Inferno – Act I

  • iLvl 61: 17.7% to 23.9%
  • iLvl 62: 7.9% to 12.6%
  • iLvl 63: 2.0% to 4.8%

Inferno – Act II

  • iLvl 61: 18.6% to 23.3%
  • iLvl 62: 12.4% to 18.6%
  • iLvl 63: 4.1% to 9.3%

Inferno – Act III and Act IV

  • iLvl 61: 24.1% to 27.1%
  • iLvl 62: 16.1% to 21.7%
  • iLvl 63: 8.0% to 16.3%

Does that mean farming Act 3 & 4 is the only way to maximize your return on time invested in farming? Not necessarily. Allow me to explain why I think farming Act 1 may be the better option at this point in the game.

Regardless of class, provided the Inferno build you’re using allows you to avoid or mitigate large amounts of damage for a short period of time means you can ignore resists and stack your primary stat + magic find. That’s simply something you cannot do in Act’s 3 and 4 of Inferno.

MF gear is not (currently) overly expensive and building a set that gives you a base MF of 200%+ before you’ve attained any Nephalem Valor stacks is easily doable. With the right gear + 5 stack NV, you can run around in Act 1 with MF in the range of 325%+.

Having a high MF while farming doesn’t just benefit you while killing champion packs, it has the added benefit of enabling trash to drop lots of good items as well. In fact, the majority of my legendary and set item drops have come from trash mobs. While most legendaries and set items are not impressive, once the update to such items goes through, their appeal will increase as will the desire to see them drop. Regardless of ilevel, an increased rate of killing mobs means more opportunities for loot to drop.

While farming Act 1 instead of 2/3/4 means you’re less likely to get that perfectly rolled i63 you’re after, there are plenty of things that can offset this loss.

First, a perfectly rolled i61 can be just as good as a mid range i62 or low end i63. A perfectly rolled i62 can be just as good as a mid range i63. Given i61 and i62 drop rates in Act 1 are somewhat comparable to Acts 2, 3 and 4, farming Act 1 still makes sense if you’re not after a perfectly rolled i63 (which is more than likely going to acquired via the AH/RMAH than dropped in game).

Farming in full MF also means that you’ll have an increased drop rate of rares and magics from trash mobs. More items to salvage means more opportunities to receive Fiery Brimstones. The prices for these items have skyrocketed over the past fortnight. You can look at these as a secondary or by-product of your time spent farming. Inferno quality mat prices continue to hold steady while others have become near-worthless.

Another by-product of farming Act 1 is the repair savings you make. Even in full MF + main stat gear, it’s possible to do repeated full clears without it costing you many thousands of gold in repairs due to deaths. Compare that to Act’s 3 & 4 where it’s easy to be repeatedly killed in full resist/stam gear, costing you a small fortune in the process to attain items that are usually no better than the ones that drop in Act 1.

Having a good supply of well rolled i61 and i62 means you’ll have items you’re willing to sell on the RMAH at steep discount to the perfectly rolled i63′s which are selling for $250. The $250 price tag is out of reach for the majority of Diablo 3 players. Because of this, there are more buyers in the lower end of the market who realize they can’t get the best item cheaply but they can get something comparable for $5-$25. As more and more people sell junk items and build their Blizzard balance, these players are more likely to treat their balance as play money and purchase these lower end items on a whim instead of saving up.

Finally, there is 4 boxing (and this is what I’m currently excited about). I’m putting together a team of 4 WD’s where 3 will wear max MF in each slot while my main will wear full DPS. If you can pull 35k+ DPS, you’re already aware that you can solo champion packs in a 4 man group in Act 1 with relative ease.

Most players are not aware that while playing in a group, their MF becomes the average of all 4 players instead of their own amount of MF in gear. If 3 players are wearing full DPS gear while only 1 player is full MF, the MF player not only gimps his MF but DPS as well. The ideal strategy would be for 3 players to wear max MF while the 4th glass cannons everything; good luck organizing that in public games.

Most multiboxers are having more luck keeping their group alive in full MF in Act 1 than Act’s 3 & 4. Because farming items is a time investment, multiboxing a 4 player group increases your item acquisition rate 4 fold without any further time investment required (beside leveling the characters).

Are you having more fun or luck farming in Act 1 or do you prefer to farm Act’s 3 & 4 in the hope of finding that perfect item for yourself or to sell? Let me know in the comments below.

Increased Diablo 3 item drop rates list

Blizzard knows that they have made a few mistakes with Diablo 3, not only in terms with the server issues, but also with the game itself. We’ve heard it time and again that the third outing for this franchise is not the best, but the developer is trying to make changes in order to give the user a much better experience. The most recent of these is to make the end-game of the Inferno mode mush easier, so have increased the drop rates from a selection of high-level items.

Thanks to this update that was reported here you will now be able to find these items much easier than before; proof of these drop rates can be seen below. Adjustments have also been on item drops for bosses, so now you will be able to get one guaranteed Rare drop with four Nephalem Valor stacks and you’ll get two Rares with five stacks.

We’d love to know what you think about these changes and if you think Blizzard has gone far enough to make the Inferno mode more accessible, or do you think they have made things worse and they should make the mode even tougher?

Hell - Act III and Act IV
